"Black Butterfly" is a 1984 song by American singer-songwriter Deniece Williams. It was released in 1984 for Columbia Records. The song was written by a well-established songwriting duo Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann. The song comes from her 1984 album Let's Hear it for the Boy. B-side is a song called "Blind Dating", another album feature.
Single peaked at number 22 on the Billboard R&B chart.[1]
